Frances Tarlton "Sissy" Farenthold (born October 2, 1926) is an American politician, attorney, activist, and educator. She is best known for her two campaigns for the office of Governor of Texas. She was nominated for Vice President of the United States during the 1972 Democratic National Convention.[1]
